Absolutely! We believe that the location plays a significant role in capturing unique and personalized photographs. Whether it's at your home, a scenic outdoor location, or a venue of your choice, we're open to capturing your portraits in a place that holds meaning to you. When possible, we do prefer to utilize natural lighting, but we are more than capable and willing to capture your moments elsewhere if that is what you prefer.
The duration of a photo session varies depending on the session type chosen. Portrait sessions are available in ranges from 15 minutes up to 1 hour while events and weddings can span several hours. We strive to provide ample time to capture all the important moments and ensure you feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the session.
We understand the anticipation of seeing your final photos. Our editing process typically takes 2-4 weeks for portrait sessions and 6-8 weeks for weddings, depending on the volume of images and the complexity of editing required as well as the queue for editing. We prioritize quality and attention to detail to deliver exceptional images that exceed your expectations. That said, we try to deliver as quickly as possible while maintaining our standards. You may even receive your photos before the standard turn around time.
Every single session and wedding is different. With portrait sessions you will receive at minimum 10 with a micro mini, 25 with a mini and you receive them all with a standard portrait session (at minimum 35). Weddings typically receive 400+ images with the number depending on the wedding itself.
I sure will travel! Get in touch with me to discuss specific locations you are looking at and we can determine if there will need to be a travel fee added or not depending on the distance. As a base starting point we charge $1/mile over 200 miles round trip not including overnight stays or any other accommodations that may be necessary.
We try not to dictate what you wear for your portrait session as it is supposed to reflect and represent you. However, we do recommend wearing something that makes you feel confident and comfortable. We are happy to provide guidance based on the session type and location if you need assistance though.
Currently I use a Nikon Z5 camera body, a Nikon Speedlight SB-700 and my primary camera lens is a Tamron 24-70 f/2.8. I also have and use a Nikkor 50mm occasionally.
I provide a personal use print release so you are free to print them at whatever your printer of choice is. However, I have found that I, personally, prefer to print my photos through the following companies: mPix and Artsy Couture. Both companies provide services to non-professionals at affordable prices as well as additional other products.
